OREANDA-NEWS. May 5, 2009. For eight years of work Kirov Branch of the Bank of Moscow has acquired a reputation as a reliable financial partner of private customers, enterprises and the administration of the Kirov Region. The total loan portfolio of Kirov Branch as of January 1, 2009 has exceeded RUR1.8 bln. The branch serves more than 50 thousand private and corporate clients including the biggest enterprises of the defense complex, transportation, communication, and trade – JSC VMP AVITEK, Kirov plant Mayak, JSC VESTA, OOO Vyatka Plywood Manufacturing Plant.

The balance sheet profit of Kirov Branch of the Bank of Moscow as of January 1, 2009 amounted more than RUR262 mln, 85 percent more than for the analogous period of 2008.

In 2005 the Bank of Moscow was a general agent of the first issue of bonds of the Kirov Region (the volume of the issue amounted RUR400 mln), in September 2006 the second bond issue of the Kirov Region with the volume of RUR600 mln was organized.

In December 2008 CJSC Investlesprom completed the construction of OOO Vyatka Plywood Plant with the total value of RUR3 bln with financial support of the Bank of Moscow and in cooperation with the administration of the Kirov Region.

Retail business is a priority of the Bank of Moscow branch in the region. The volume of attracted funds of individuals in the Kirov Region has amounted RUR200 mln. More than 12 thousand people receive their salaries on plastic cards issued by the Bank of Moscow. Three additional offices and a wide network of ATMs work for convenience of clients.

A Branch of the Bank of Moscow in Kirov was opened on April 28, 2001.
