OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 May 2009 was announced, that according to preliminary information the gross premium collected by Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Volga federal region of Russia in 2008 totaled 3.1 bln RUB which is 56% above the results of 2007.

The volume of insurance premium for voluntary insurance besides life insurance totaled 2.6 bln RUB (68.8% growth) including personal insurance – 318 mln RUB (184.1% growth), property insurance – 2.2 bln RUB (66.0% growth), liability insurance – 96.5 mln RUB (1% growth). Mandatory TPL insurance premium totaled 500.6 mln RUB (11.3% growth).

Payments by Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Volga federal region for direct insurance over 12 months of 2008 totaled 1.7 bln RUB, including 169.2 mln RUB for personal insurance, 1.1 mln for property insurance, 10.8 mln RUB, for voluntary liability insurance 10.8 mln RUB. Payments for Mandatory TPL insurance – 389.7 mln RUB.

Highest development dynamics was demonstrated in 2008 by such directions of the Volga Ingosstrakh IJSC offices as personal and property insurance.

The highest level of premium (627.9 mln RUB) Ingosstrakh received in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Premium volume in the Samara region – 612.1 mln RUB, in the Republic of Tatarstan – 551.4 mln RUB. Payments made by the offices in those regions were correspondingly 452.1 mln RUB, 307.4 mln RUB and 264.3 mln RUB.
