OREANDA-NEWS. May 4, 2009. The company CV PROTEK has been recognized as the most influential pharmaceutical distributor in the ranking published by the Pharmexpert think tank and the Pharmateutical Reporter (Farmatsevtichesky Vestnik) newspaper.

The degree of influence of pharmaceutical companies was determined based on the survey of 1300 respondents from six expert groups: representatives of science; civil servants; spokesmen for national and foreign pharm manufacturers; spokesmen for distributors; and managers and directors of pharmacies. Experts identified the most influential players in the pharmaceuticals market in nine categories: “Pharmaceutical manufacturers”, “Distributors”, “Pharmacy chains”, “Colleges and universities”, “Prescription drugs”, “OTC drugs”, “Websites”, “Businessmen, statesmen and public figures, academic figures”, “Non-governmental and non-commercial unions and associations”.

According to the Pharmaceutical Reporter, “ranking makes it possible to identify leaders not based on some artificially deduced parameters, but to name those who actually shape minds, impact the structure of the industry, and provide landmarks for development.”

The influence ranking included PROTEK's website, too, which came in third in terms of popularity. Having been updated in 2008, PROTEK's website is at top of corporate websites, yielding only to web portals.
