OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 May 2009 was announced, that a conference, summing up the results of monitoring of the Collective Agreement - 2008 implementation took place at CJSC Crimea TITAN. CJSC Crimea TITAN Management and Work Collective representatives took part in the conference.

The conference dealt with the key results of the company's work in 2008:

- Production.

The total value of market products produced in 2008 is 1 234 600.000 UAH. Increase against 2007 amounted to 35.5% or 323.8 million UAH. 90.3 thousand tons of titanium dioxide were produced in 2008 (the production increased by 2% or 1.8 thousand tons as compared to 2007). The production of sulfuric acid amounted to 518.6 thousand tons, monoammonium phosphate – 75.5 thousand tons.

Taxes and dues made 110.2 million UAH, compared to 94.4 million UAH in 2007.

Capital investment in 2008 amounts to 156.3 million UAH.

The implementation of Production Modernization Program continued in 2008. Under this Program the following equipment was put into operation: a new filtration system at "white filtration" stage, IHIHS centrifuge, circulation reduction reducer in the workshop Titan-1; two membrane filter presses at "control filtration" stage, IHIHS centrifuge, ALLGAIER drying plant in the workshop Titan-2; ferrous sulfate drying plant in the workshop of concentrated sulfuric acid and color pigments.

- Personnel management.

Average number of staff workers in 2008 was 4766 persons. Average wages increased by 259.7 UAH (or by 15.7 percent) compared to 2007 and amounted to 1918 UAH.

- Environmental measures.

To preserve favorable environmental situation at the enterprise and adjacent territories in 2008 CJSC Crimea TITAN implemented certain environmental measures to the amount of 92 million UAH, including: 59 million UAH for air protection, 2 million UAH for environmentally safe storage and utilization of solid and liquid wastes, 507 thousand UAH for ecological control.

As a result of the conference there was made a solid decision to consider the work of CJSC Crimea TITAN Management and Trade Union Committee satisfactory.
