OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2009. Quality Management System and Integrated Management System (Labour Protection, Occupational Safety and Ecological Management) of OAO KAMAZ-Metallurgy were successfully audited.

According to the inspection results, the representatives of Russian Register (Saint-Petersburg) and TUV (Germany) Certification Associations concluded that Quality Management System of OAO KAMAZ-Metallurgy corresponded to ISO 9001:2000 International Standard.

Compliance of Integrated Management System with the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards was acknowledged during the certification audit in April 2008. To date attention was directed to improvement of the system. The auditors recommended introducing changes to a problem-solving strategy and amending the earlier developed Plant Standard.

On the whole, the audit acknowledged effectiveness of the company’s business-processes. According to the three-year plan (certification is held every three years), the next audit of Integrated Management System will take place in three years. And Quality Management System will be recertified in 2010.
