On 28 April 2009 JSC SITRONICS (LSE: SITR), a leading provider of telecommunications, information technology and microelectronic solutions in Russia and the CIS, announced that the results of studies conducted within the domestic market of information and communication technologies, (which was conducted by Expert RA rating agency),has found JSC SITRONICS to be the largest IT-company in Russia throughout 2008.

The Russian companies, producing equipment, developing software, providing services in the field of IТ and telecommunications and distributing, took part in this rating. The main criterion of the ranking of the participants in the list of the largest IT-companies is the parameter of the aggregate proceeds of the company from IT activity over a specified time. Additional criterion of the ranking of the participants is the parameter of the sales volume from separate kinds of activities in the field of IT.
