OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2009. Mini-banks and special saving offices of commercial banks will function beyond working hours (from 18:00 to 21:00) and day-offs as required.

Currently, about 30 commercial banks operate in Uzbekistan, which have over 8,000 branches and departments.

In line with the presidential decree, it is planned that the banks will open 340 new mini-banks and offices, of which 250 in rural areas and their total number will reach 3,900, of which 2,300 in rural areas.
