OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 April 2009 was announced, that Turkmenistan is receiving first consignments of Russian KAMAZ trucks under a contract signed between the ministry of trade and foreign economic relations of Turkmenistan and KAMAZ FTC Corp company. A total of 1040 KAMAZ trucks and special equipment will be supplied to Turkmenistan.

In the near future the technical fleet of various branches of the national economy will be complemented with new dump-trucks, pavers, refuellers, truck cranes, construction car lifts, concrete mixers, excavators, repair cars and other vehicles. KAMAZ vehicles will be distributed among all regions and the capital city of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State News Agency (TDH) said.

It should be recalled that KAMAZ opened a training-service center in Ashgabat last year. It provides comprehensive maintenance of vehicles, including diagnostics and major repair of 1 thousand vehicles a year.
