OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2009. Activities on isoprene production improvement based on one-stage process technology are being continued at Isoprene Synthetic Rubber Plant of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, in spite of difficulties due to economic crisis: measures are taken to increase production output, reduce consumption rates on raw materials and utilities , etc., reported the press-centre of Nizhnekamskneftekhim.

Isoprene production at the plant on March of the last year, amounted to 108% compared to March of 2008.

At the same time, heat energy consumption decreased for 5%.
