OREANDA-NEWS. April 24, 2009. During 1Q of 2009 the Bank Finance and Credit was taking appropriate measures which allowed optimization of institution's activity and contributed to rhythmic Bank work at this economic conjuncture.

In the upshot of 1Q the net assets of the Bank Finance and Credit made up UAH 18, 316 billion. The financial result of the Bank Finance and Credit work from the beginning of the year – UAH 224 thousand.

On March 24, 2009 Special Meeting of Shareholders of the Bank Finance and Credit took place, it was resolved to transfer the Bank`s stock of 50%+1 share to the government and investors. According to the Chairman of the Board of the Bank Finance and Credit Volodymyr Khlyvniuk: "A huge confidence from the government in our Bank is the evidence of the fact that strategy chosen by the Bank Finance and Credit is correct".

The authorized capital of the Bank as of 01.04.2009 made up UAH 2 billion, regulative capital – UAH 2, 270 billion.

The Bank loan portfolio as of 01.04.2009 made up UAH 15, 880 billion, liabilities of the Bank Finance and Credit – UAH 15, 840 billion. The amount of attracted funds as of 01.04.2009 made up UAH 7, 666 billion. The Bank Finance and Credit has formed provisions for the total amount of UAH 736 million to cover risks of all its active operations.

As of 01.04.2009 over 50 thousand of accounts of legal entities are being serviced. The volume of the deposits of legal entities made up UAH 2, 366 billion. The amount of loans of clients-legal entities as of 01.04.2009 made up UAH 9, 898 billion.
As of 01.04.2009 there were opened about 136 thousand of retail term deposit accounts and about 226 thousand of current accounts in the Bank Finance and Credit. And from the beginning of 2009 over 56 thousand of retail term deposit accounts were opened in the Bank. As of 01.04.2009 the deposit and current retail accounts of the Bank Finance and Credit accumulated UAH 5, 300 billion, including UAH 4, 793 billion on term deposit accounts.
In January 2009 "Program of domestic producer's support" was approved and realized in the  Bank Finance and Credit, as part of which UAH 300 million were allocated for client program "KraZ in loan", as well as UAH 300 million for realization of credit program for railcars' purchase performed by OJSC "Stahanov carriage works", equal program works for CJSC "Rosava".

The loan portfolio of SME program as of 01.04.2009 made up UAH 671, 143 million. As of 01.04.2009 the quantity of running contracts on credit products for SME clients – over 6 thousand.

The Bank constantly develops special deposit programs focused on customer needs. From December 20, 2008 to March 20, 2009 the promotion "Spring in Paris" took place in the Bank Finance and Credit under its terms the clients having placed funds on deposits participated in the drawing lot of 3 tourist vouchers to Paris and 500 silver and gold bullions up to 100 grams.

According to the results of the Third All Ukrainian competition "Bank and insurance company – reliable partnership", organized by the editorial of specialized international periodical "Bankir" in collaboration with "Center of business-strategies "Perspective" and the League of insurance organizations of Ukraine the Bank Finance and Credit took the first position in the category "Client-oriented Bank development".

In 1Q of 2009 Bank became the participant of the promo project of the international payment system MasterCard for card holders, whose cards were emitted by the Bank, - the competition of kid's picture under symbolic title "I am a football fan". The prize fund is the tour for a child and one of his/her parents to the final competition UEFA Champions League 2008-2009, which will take place on May 27, 2009 in Rome, in addition the possibility to become the Player's Escort participant (convoy of one of the outstanding European football players by the child to the football field before the competition)

As of 01.04.2009 over 1, 013 million cards of international payment system "VISA" and "MasterCard" are emitted by the Bank Finance and Credit.

In 1Q of 2009 the Bank Finance and Credit was acknowledged the winner in the competition of the State Treasury of Ukraine of banks' definition, which were attracted to the cash services with the purpose of cash payment of the cheques of the State Treasury of Ukraine in 2009-2011.

Being one of the biggest importers of foreign currency the Bank Finance and Credit from the beginning of 2009 has imported USD 128,5 million, Euro 46,3 million and has sold 253 kg of Bank metals.

The Bank continues successful realization of the program for operating outlet network optimization, directed to quality improvement of clients' service. As of 01.04.2009 the Bank Finance and Credit system includes 16 branches and 326 non-balanced outlets on the territory of Ukraine.
