China ZTE Acquires Stake in Estonian Bravocom
OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2009. Next to Estonian entrepreneurs Oliver Kruuda and Marcel Vichmann, the Chinese telecoms giant ZTE Corporation has become a shareholder in the Estonian telecommunications company Bravocom, the weekly Eesti Ekspress says, reported the Official website investinestonia.com.
However, ZTE does not own directly nearly a quarter of Bravocom shares. According to the newspaper, the Chinese firm has the stake through a Luxembourg-registered company.
Bravocom promises to launch soon in Tallinn its 3.5G mobile network which is currently undergoing testing and the equipment for which was supplied by ZTE.
