OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2009. Joint Stock Company The State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine (Ukreximbank) repaid its maturing US345 million one-year syndicated Loan Facility, reported the press-centre of Ukreximbank.

The Syndicated Loan Facility was arranged in Y2008 by BayernLB, Deutsche Bank London and Standard Bank Plc as an extension of the Apr2007 Loan Facility. At the time the transaction was received very favourably by International Investors and was a benchmark transaction for Ukrainian banks, confirming Ukreximbank reputation in the international financial markets as a leading bank in Ukraine.

JSC Ukreximbank has, and continues to experience strong inflows of domestic liquidity, and has elected in the light of the crisis in the international financial markets, and its ability to maintain its asset strategy within its existing strong liquidity position, not to access the international financial markets for refinancing of this loan.
