On 23 April 2009 was announced, that Bratsk Branch of Ilim Group had passed a first compliance audit of the integrated management system in the area of occupational health and safety of the employees. The audit confirmed that the branch system complies all requirements of OHSAS 18001:2007 international standard requirements. The auditors from Bureau Veritas Certification had visited a number of productions, had spoke with management and workers, and had analyzed technical processes, work of equipment, documentation. In their report, the auditors underlined the strong points of branch’s management, such as four-stage production control, occupational safety books with prepunched fine tickets, training process for personnel at internal training center. Also the experts highly appreciated the system's effectiveness and work of top management — division of responsibility and spheres of activity. It will be recalled that the Bratsk Branch of Ilim Group had passed a recertification audit of the integrated management system for compliance with OHSAS 18001:2007 international standard requirements in the area of occupational health and safety of the employees in March 2008. According audit results it was decided to prolong the certificate for 3 more years.
