OREANDA-NEWS. On 23 April 2009 was announced, that a new exhibition project Moscow Tuning Show was held April 10 through 12, 2009 at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre.

Alongside with already traditional and popular exhibitions of automotive profile, such as the Moscow International Automobile Salon, InterAuto, the professional team of the Crocus Expo has initiated holding of a new project of allied subjects - Moscow Tuning Show.

Such authoritative specialized editions as magazines Tuning Avtomobiley (Car Tuning), Tuning Expert, Forsazh (Forcing), Car Music, Maxi Tuning, Auto Gallery, Avtomobili (Cars), business and entertaining magazines, for example Svoi Biznes (Own Business), Hooligan, Internet portals Mail.ru, F1news.ru and others provided press coverage of the event.

The General radio partner of the show became one of the most popular radio stations Serebrianny Dozhd (Silver rain) which has attracted quite a number of visitors by their unusual and impressive exposition: the first model of Zhiguli car and two Zaporozhets cars decorated with skeleton and bones pictures with big horns on car tops produced unforgettable impression.

The overall exposition space comprised about 4000 sq m. Sections of the Moscow Tuning Show-2009 included full range of services related to modern tuning: car tuning; sports and race motor vehicles; elite and deep tuning; car audio; technologies and equipment for tuning; tuning studio; aerography; auto boutiques; professional literature and mass media.

The collection of unique cars LOOK TWICE presented by Dereiter Racing became the highlight of the show. Two powerful American vehicles were exhibited at the stand: DODGE VIPER SRT-10 DR1 (800 HP) and DODGE RAM SRT-10 DR2 (600 HP). The visitors of the Moscow Tuning Show had an opportunity to see Lorinser GS-03 Limited cars made on the basis of Mercedes SL and Mercedes-Benz ML 320 CDI at the Russian Trade House stand. The Russian Trade House is a partner and exclusive dealer of west European Lorinser companies, which is a widely recognized world leader in tuning, and R-Company GmbH producing "R-Box" electronic equipment. The visitors were attracted by the engine of a German crossover which is for today is one of the best serial diesel engines. It is equipped by R-Box module to increase the power that allows increasing final speed, power and engine torque. R-Box for the present is not known enough in Russia but it has already become popular in the Western Europe. Many are attracted by the possibility to use R-Box aiming to increase reserves of a car engine but also of boats and yachts engines. Nissan 350Z Twin Turbo tuned by URT - tuning subdivision was presented at Uspensky Rally Technics stand. It is a top-equipped car which blocks and units were significantly updated, in particular a deeply modified engine has been equipped by a twin turbocharger, the brakes system and car suspension were fully modified, and standard engine control system was replaced with the professional system Motec.

About 30 000 people visited the show during three exhibition working days. Moscow Tuning Show is an event of an absolutely new format for Russia, a bright event equally interesting both for fans and professionals in the branch.

The exhibition was of special attraction for companies rendering tuning services. The event became a perfect platform for professional networking, contracts negotiation and mutually beneficial contacts establishment with suppliers of equipment, materials, tools and accessories, and with cars fans for which their means of transportation became means of self-expression, individual style and their way of life. The majority of participants of the exhibition were satisfied with the show results and many have submitted applications for participation in the next edition.

The integral part of the Moscow Tuning Show became the cultural and entertaining program. Professional artists of aerography presented their art during all three working days of the exhibition at the stand of Aerography magazine. One could watch the creation of bright art improvisations and look after the complete process of a car airbrushing.

A show under the name The Fastest Car PVC Film Stickering which was presented by the innovators of car styling and tuning from Restyling company April 11 took place right on site. The Russian experts made the impossible: altered the body of Nissan z350 completely by sticking a film (3D carbon) during an extremely short period of 1 hour 58 minutes and 32 seconds. A new record was set up. The former record holders were experts from Germany and their record was 2 hours and 25 minutes. The achievement was registered in the Book of Records of Russia and the Guinness Book of Records

Igor Korovkin, Executive Director of the Association of Russian Carmakers, Mikhail Alexandrov, Commercial Director of RTE-Group, Arkady Zlotnikov, First Deputy Director Crocus Expo IEC, and Dmitry Uspensky, Moscow Tuning Show Project Director, and many others inaugurated the Moscow Tuning Show and DreamCar Show at the Official Opening Ceremony.

Moscow Tuning Show -2010 will be held in April 2010 at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre.
