OREANDA-NEWS. On 23 April 2009 was announced, that in March 2009 a group of auditors of “Russkiy Registr” association by prior arrangement carried out test of Quality Management System (QMS) at Pulkovo airport.

Performance appraisal of effectiveness of the introduced QMS was conducted both in administrative and functional departments. Analysis of operational system included several objectives: conformancy testing of QMS to requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2000; performance analysis of QMS maintenance on stream and evaluation of its effectiveness.

Audit affected wide spectrum of processes, operating within the limits of Pulkovo airport QMS. Also experts evaluated requirements to documents running, providing with resources, enterprise infrastructure, working environment, rendering of services, processes connected with consumers, projection and development of new services, rendering of services, operation monitoring and measuring facilities, operation of inapplicable service. According to audit results all the processes satisfy the requirements of the declared standard ISO 9001:2000.

It is significant that during the audit the staff demonstrated high level of training, openness and concern in the objective audit results. This contributed to performance of the QMS audit completely. On the audit results QMS conformance certificate of Pulkovo airport can be confirmed.
