OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 April 2009 was announced, that over the last year, Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. paid out about UAH 3,100,000 to policy owners, whose cars were insured under the Formula motor hull insurance program on the risk “Theft”.

According to Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. statistics, in 2008, Toyota vehicles, in particular Toyota Camry, were most popular among car thieves. Different models of Lexus rank second by theft frequency. Porsche Cayenne vehicles rank third in the company’s rating by number of thefts.

Almost all indemnities under motor hull insurance agreements on the risk “Theft” were made by the company to policy owners from Kyiv and Odessa. The largest indemnity on the risk “Theft” was paid to the owner of Porsche Cayenne stolen in Kyiv at night near the policy owner’s place of residence. The indemnity amounted to UAH 644,000.
