OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2009. After a delegation of OAO Gazprom has recently visited KAMAZ two leaders of the Russian economy maintain close contact with each other. Within 17 and 27 April KAMAZ is participating in “The Blue Corridor” auto race of bottle gas-driven vehicles on the initiative of Gazprom.

There are 22 CNG (compressed natural gas) vehicles – trucks, cars, buses – in a column. KAMAZ and its partners – Kommash, OOO RariTEK and OAO NEFAZ – sent a three-way unloading dump truck 65115, a vacuum municipal vehicle KO-505A and a low entry bus NEFAZ to participate in the rally.

The auto race started in Moscow, but the main part of “The Blue Corridor” route is laid through the territory of the Southern Federal District. Exhibitions will be organized and round-table meetings with the representatives of krai and municipal administrations will take place in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Sochi. Haulers and agricultural communities will estimate advantages of the KAMAZ special equipment, get answers to their questions concerning its order, purchase, operation and service procedures. The auto race will finish in the capital of Russia.

The organizer of the large-scale event is OOO VNIIGAZ on the instructions of OAO Gazprom.
