OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2009. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvian Republic Mr. Maris Riekstinsh together with business delegation payed an official visit to Azerbaijan. Within the framework of the visit Azerbaijan-Latvia Business Forum took place. Forum brought together entrepreneurs of finances, transport, agricultural, ICT and others sectors from both countries.

Forum was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Niyazi Safarov, who stated the will of local entrepreneurs to cooperate with their Latvian colleagues. After that, presentations by the President of Azpromo and Latvian delegation representatives were held. Forum was followed by business networking between participants.
