OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2009. KAMAZ Inc. presents three exhibits – two XTX-215 wheeled tractors and one XTX-185 – at Ural-Agro-2009 Specialized Exhibition and Fair which opened in Yekaterinburg.

Ural-Agro-2009 is the main advertising and commercial forum for producers of agricultural equipment on the eve of summer. Delegations from oblasts of the whole Ural assemble at the fair and exhibition. The exhibits will be presented by Trade and Finance Company as an exclusive seller of KAMAZ production and an associated company of the auto giant – OOO Kamsky Tractor Plant (KamTZ) which has got the right of independent work on the market.

KAMAZ started mastering the manufacture of agricultural equipment of this type at the beginning of this century, also together with the leading European producers. In the end, KAMAZ Inc. chose the transnational ARGO S.p.A holding company for a joint project. Assembly of tractors (3rd drawbar category, 215 hp engines) was opened on the KAMAZ production capacities on June 18, 2008. And already in August OOO Kamsky Tractor Plant – an associated company with 100% capital of KAMAZ Inc. – was established.

To date KamTZ assembles tractors on the basis of components delivered from Italy and France. The enterprise offers its customers a line of tractors various models and modifications of which (XTX-185, XTX-215, CX-105, C-max-85) enable to carry out the whole cycle of farm works using one kind of tractors.

The main sellers of tractors by KamTZ on the Russian market are Rosagropromleasing and Tatagropromleasing. Since the beginning of production the former enterprise has realized 96 tractors and made an order for 111 units for 2009, and the latter enterprise delivered 200 tractors to agricultural enterprises on the territory of Tatarstan. KAMAZ tractors also operate in Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Stavropol and Perm Territories, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, Tambov, Ulianovsk and Irkutsk Oblasts.

Since the beginning of 2009 KamTZ has assembled 120 tractors. The plant expands its own dealer and service network on the territory of Russia. It will include the dealers of KAMAZ Trade and Finance Company mastering the whole complex of operations in presales preparation, sale, warranty and routine service.

XTX tractors standardize working conditions for machine operators in Russia and raise quality standards of farming machines.
