OREANDA-NEWS. April 17, 2009. The largest manufacturer and distributor of vehicles in Ukraine, UkrAVTO Corporation, signed the long-term agreement with Korean Corporation Kia Motors for KIA cars distribution in Ukraine, reported the press-centre ZAZ.

Thus, powerful brand got the most powerful partner in Ukraine, and the admirers of Korean trademark got the strongest trade and service network. Having established one of the biggest in Europe net of modern dealer and service centers UkrAVTO Corporation prepared a background for development and widening of car brands range.

"Adding KIA to product portfolio of UkrAVTO is a strategic decision dictated not by today's market, but by results of assessment of brand outlooks in Ukraine and possible development and long-term cooperation", - comments Vyacheslav Povroznik, Deputy Chairman of the Board of UkrAVTO Corporation for cars sales & dealer net development.

The first lot of KIA cars will arrive to new distributor's warehouses already in the middle of May. During the first stage more than 70 dealer and service centers of UkrAVTO Corporation will operate under KIA brand in all regions of Ukraine. Active steps are planned to involve new dealers.

Cars of the popular Korean brand will be distributed under the leadership of Vakhtang Vasadze, who worked for UkrAVTO Corporation for many years occupying different positions, including distribution management. "Vast experience gained by us during many years of comprehensive activities in the market of Ukraine allows to evaluate the perspective of this brand soundly and approach to KIA cars promotion pragmatically", - notes Vakhtang Vasadze. "With a great enthusiasm we start our activity on proportion of the broadest product portfolio of one of the most innovative brands of the present. We are glad that in the nearest months we will be able to present to the customers a range of new KIA products, being successfully sold in the markets of other countries. Owners of KIA cars in Ukraine can already use KIA toll-free hot line in Ukraine: 8-800-500-23-30. New distributor has already undertaken all warranty obligations for KIA cars sold in Ukraine. Starting from May new programs will be launched in dealer network, and it will be replenished with new powerful dealer centers.
