OREANDA-NEWS. April 17, 2009. This morning An-124 airplane delivered Breeze-M upper stage to Baikonur.  After the customs clearance, the upper stage and the auxiliary equipment were transported to the integration and test facility.

Breeze-M is to be used for the launch of the Proton-M rocket with Protostar-2 satellite aboard planned for mid May 2009.

Breeze-M is produced by Khrunichev plant. Starting from 1999, more than 30 Proton launches with Breeze-M were made.
