Dr.Web Announced New Beta for Mac OS X
OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 April 2009 was announced, that the Russian anti-virus vendor Doctor Web released a new beta-version of Dr.Web anti-virus for Mac OS X 10.4 and later (Intel).
The first beta of Dr.Web for Mac OS X was presented to the public by Doctor Web on December 26, 2008. Since then it underwent significant changes that included improved interface usability and implementation of specific features of Dr.Web SpIDer Guard.
The new beta of Dr.Web for Mac OS X features a new main window, dozens of amazing new icons and a completely changed look and feel of the configuration and license management window.
Besides additional configuration options for Dr.Web SpIDer Guard have been implemented in the new beta-version. Now a user can set a maximum scan time for one file and enable and disable archive scan. Improved interaction between Dr.Web SpIDer Guard and the new GUI contributes to higher performance and stability of the file monitor.
