OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 April 2009 was announced, that UniCredit Group member of which is Ukrsotsbank has decided to donate ?1 million to support those affected by the earthquake in Italy and is launching an international fundraising initiative among its over 170,000 colleagues in the 22 Countries where it operates.

Colleagues will be given the possibility to donate voluntarily a sum equivalent to the value of one working hour (gross amount).

The collection of colleagues’ donations will be run on a geographical basis. The Group is ready to coordinate its own efforts with those of the Italian banking system and social welfare organisations.

We would like to thank all colleagues who have already shown their solidarity towards those affected by the earthquake, testifying once again that our commitment is our strength.
