OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 April 2009 CenterTelecom OJSC announced results of an open tender for the mandatory audit of the company’s accounting statement for 2009 according to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) and for the audit of the company’s consolidated financial results for 2009 according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

On 8 April, 2009 the company’s Tender Committee responsible for selection of independent audit company evaluated technical and financial proposals submitted by tender participants and selected KPMG CJSC as the winner. 

The results of the tender will be submitted to the CenterTelecom’s Board of Directors which will then recommend approval of the selected audit company by the CenterTelecom’s annual general meeting of the shareholders (AGM).

An agreement for the mandatory audit of the company’s accounting statement for 2009 according to RAS and for the audit of the company’s consolidated financial results for 2009 according to IFRS is to be concluded with the winner of the tender following approval by the CenterTelecom’s AGM.
