OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 April 2009 was announced, that Southern Telecommunications Company launched a campaign for school graduates of Southern federal district “We choose profession”. Internet bridge with graduates of Alagir school №3 was held from UNESCO hall of Northern-Ossetia State University named after Hetagurov. The Minister of Education and Science of Northern Ossetia Republic Valery Sozanov, the pro-rector for education of the Northern-Ossetia State University Anatoly Rajtsev and the pro-rector for Science of Northern-Ossetia State Medical Academy Zamira Astakhova answered the children’s questions on holding a Single State Exam.

When presenting this new communication format, UTK’s General Director Alexander Andreev noted that extensive development of Internet technologies was one of the main tasks of Southern Telecommunications Company: “The faster new technologies are implemented in all spheres of life – education, culture, medicine, government, – the faster our country, and first of all its economy, will progress. We have no doubt that tomorrow is with Internet technologies which now makes it possible to communicate even with the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev through his Internet video blog and with Vladimir Putin who has his own website. And we hope that Internet will always be your friend and assistant”. Participants of the first Internet - bridge showed their interest in further usage of this innovative form of communication with potential entrants.

During April similar Internet - bridges for school leavers will be held in all regional branches of Southern Telecommunications Company. The campaign makes use of the video chat of popular youth portal Mediazona.ru where participants can see and hear each other, as well as to exchange written messages online.
