OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2009. FEZ “Grodnoinvest” resident company “Biokom” Ltd is implementing an import-substitution investment project “Production of supplementary feeds, milk substitution products for farm animals”, reported the press-centre of Grodnoinvest.

Domestic market supplies of “Biokom” Ltd include milk substitution products, medical and prophylactic supplementary feeds, concentrated feedstuff for farm animals. The usage of supplementary feeds lets to enrich the food of animals with proteins, vitamins and minerals. Vitamins and minerals activate enzymic, hormone and immune systems of animals, strengthen their health and increase birth rate.

Production capacity of the resident company “Biokom” Ltd allows producing up to 20.2 tons of supplementary feeds per year, which covers the domestic requirements by 70%. At the present time the company considers a possibility of export deliveries to foreign markets.

As a part of the present investment project the company “Biokom” plans construction of a plant for deep processing of oil crops in order to receive high quality proteins and extend the range of supplementary feeds.
