OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2009. ROSNO’s Western Siberian branch has concluded a number of insurance contracts with OJSC  I. V. Michurin Farm for the total insurance amount of 31,959,657 roubles. The insurance coverage applies to production equipment and farm animals, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The farm’s special-purpose machinery and production equipment have been covered against the following risks: fire, lightning stroke, explosion, aircraft impact; robbery, brigandage, and deliberate third-party actions aimed at damaging the insured property. Also, 48 pedigree cows have been insured under the second contract.

The animal insurance coverage applies to the risks of loss, stealage and forced slaughter due to diseases. The contracts have been concluded for one year and can be extended.
