OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 April 2009 was announced, that minister of healthcare of Kazakhstan Zh. Doskaliev offers to invite foreign medical companies and specialists to the state to fight corruption and develop competition.

“In the sphere of medical services must exist competitive environment including state, private and international institutions”, - said on Friday Zh. Doskaliev at the meeting of republican public council fighting corruption.

The head of Ministry of healthcare emphasized that his department intends to “support opening of additional private international joint enterprises that will render medical assistance at high level”.

 “Of course these organizations will be accredited”, - he added.

According to the minister, in 2008 there were initiated 29 criminal cases against 22 in 2007 for bribery, steal of state funds and property.

“I think that the facts of bribery among state officials and heads of healthcare organizations, small graft of medical workers are shameful for me and all the system of healthcare”, - said Zh. Doskaliev.
