OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2009. The Gov’t has approved a series of decisions which stipulates that budget organizations are put to self-financing. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko announced to a briefing on the outcomes of the special Govt’s session.

The decision of the Government regulates providing paid services by the state institutions of education, science, health protection, physical culture and sports as well as institutions and organizations included into the sphere of governance by Ministry of Emergencies, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Department for Execution of Punishment.

According to Yulia Tymoshenko, from now on every budget institution will have its own settlement account which will receive funds from paid services. Such accounts will be open in the State Treasury until July 1 of 2009.

“We spare no effort to ensure all the funds for the paid services, provided to the citizens of Ukraine, to flow into the State Budget,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.

At this, the Premier added decisions of the Government concern only current paid services: “No additional paid service has been introduced yet. All guaranteed by the state free services will be provided free of charge”.
