OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2009. ROSNO’s Nizhny Novgorod branch has paid a private client an insurance compensation following the fire that had occurred in the client’s bathhouse located in one of the villages of Bogorodsky district, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The insurance compensation equalled 1,211,323 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The fire occurred due to short-circuit in lighting cable in the bathhouse’s sweating room. At the moment of ignition, the bathhouse was actively used, resulting in the rapidly expanding fire area, due to the high temperature inside the sweating room. As a result, the fire has completely destroyed the bathhouse’s internal furnishing, damaged the log cabin, roof, plumbing systems and property stored inside the bathhouse.

The property insurance contract was concluded by the bathhouse owner in November 2008 under the comprehensive cottage insurance program Citadel. The insurance coverage had applied to the residential house and movable property stored therein, as well as the bathhouse.
