OREANDA-NEWS. April 14, 2009. The parties have agreed to cooperate in the field of information technologies and automated check point protection systems as well as on physical protection of borderline infrastructure. The agreement was signed by Director General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation Sergey Kiriyenko and Head of the Federal Agency for Development of State Border of the Russian Federation (Rosgranitsa) Dmitry Bezdelov.

In the framework of the agreement Rosatom’s companies will design automated physical protection systems for Rosgranitsa as well as technologies for the agency’s information infrastructure.

The project will be coordinated by Rosgranstroy FSUE and Rosatom’s Crisis Center.
