OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 April 2009 was announced, that the Russian State Juvenile Library was opened after rebuilding in Moscow on April 9.

According to Marina Zakharenko, deputy director for regional and public relations, the work aimed at repairing and enhancing the premises of the library has been carried out for over two years. The facades of the building have been renewed, the inner layout has been changed.

The official added there were the branch-wise halls dedicated to humanities, social and natural sciences, technics, etc in the library.

“The library is equipped with wi-fi. Now the youngsters have an opportunity to connect to the internet by their notebooks, mobile phones and communicators,” Mr Zakharenko emphasized.

The Russian State Juvenile Library is located on 4 Bolshaya Cherkizovskaya, bldg 1. Its grand opening was held at 4.00 pm on April 9.
