OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 April 2009 was announced, that on August 18, 2008, Oranta-Online launched its own website, www.online.oranta.ua. The company’s main objectives include the development of the direct insurance channel and automation of Oranta’s business processes.

Several days after the website was launched, the first insurance contracts were concluded on the basis of clients’ online applications. We would like to mention that due to its efficient business process, insurance contracts throughout Oranta’s entire network of directorates are prepared and signed within one day upon receipt of an insurance application. Hull and compulsory civil liability insurance programs are in the greatest demand.

On average, the website of Oranta-Online is visited daily by over 500 unique visitors who can familiarize themselves with and conclude hull, third-party, Green Card insurance contracts, as well as life insurance contracts of Oranta-Life. Within a half a year (from August to late December of last year), about 1500 insurance applications have been sent to the website and over 1100 insurance contracts have been concluded.

In late December of 2008, a pilot project on online sales of insurance projects was launched via a partner's insurance channel, and in mid January of 2009, Oranta’s partner, Kreditprombank, made the decision to launch a full-scale project on sales of insurance products via its own branch network. In mid February, all branches of Kreditprombank (over 300 users) were granted access to the front office solution.

The IT solution to automate sales, created and supported by Oranta-Online, makes it possible to extensively automate business sales processes, including the turnover of registered forms, preparation of the necessary acts and circulation of documents. The advantages of a partner’s channel for the sale of insurance products (banks, tour operators, and auto dealers) are obvious: transparency, instant reporting in any form, and maximally automated and very convenient interface. It is important to note that every sales manager of Oranta-Online is prepared to start to business after a short orientation. The company’s IT solution is developed on the basis of the newest Microsoft technologies and conforms to strict security standards and effectiveness requirements.

Direct sales allow Oranta’s clients to chose and customize their selected insurance product, to calculate its real insurance premium, and to order the delivery of the policy at a time and place of their choosing.
