Moldova Budget Revenues Totaled 2,7 Billion Lei in 1Q
OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2009. State budget revenues in the first quarter of 2009 totaled 2.7 billion lei or 1% more than planned.
The Finance Minister Marianna Durlesteanu said at the Government’s sitting that the growth had resulted from the excess of receipts from the Chief State Tax Inspection by 2 per cent and from the Customs Service – by 1 per cent over the planned receipts level.
Durlesteanu also said State Ecological Fund’s receipts in the first quarter had grown by 24 million lei. Budget expenditure totaled 3.6 billion lei or 79.8 per cent of the planned level. The budget deficit amounted to 913.4 million lei. 971 million lei were transferred to local budgets in the first quarter of 2009.
At the end of the first quarter of 2009, the balance of local budgets’ funds totaled 540 million lei. 215 million lei were spent to serve the foreign debt and 199.9 million lei – internal debt.
