Mazeikiu Nafta Organizes Exhibition for People with Disabilities
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 08, 2009 A traditional exhibition – fair has been opened in Technical Library of Public Company Mazeikiu Nafta for the approaching Holly Easter. Exhibits of the exhibition – fair are handicrafts created by people with disabilities of Public Company Vilties Erdve. All works are unified by the symbolism of the Resurrection, reported the press-centre of Mazeikiu Nafta.
Twice a year employees of Mazeikiu Nafta have the possibility to see and buy souvenirs created by people with disabilities – before Christmas and Easter. Such exhibitions – fairs are organized for five years now. Every time employees of the Company are offered new collections of woodcrafts, cards, table decorations and stitched toys.
To their business partners Mazeikiu Nafta sends cards made by people with disabilities. „ Such exhibitions are always joyous events for pupils of our institution, We are eagerly awaiting for the possibility to present our handicrafts to employees of the Company. The fact that employees of Mazeikiu Nafta buy our works very willingly makes us very happy. This helps us and motivates to carry on – told Raimonda Salkauskiene, Senior Social Worker of Special Workshop of the company.
His Excellency Jonas Boruta, the Bishop of Telsiai, visiting Mazeikiu Nafta paid a visit to the exhibition. The distinguished guest was interested in activities of the company Vilties Erdve, communicated with souvenir makers. Later on His Excellency met with the Company Executives. Jonas Boruta in his welcome speech to the employees of Mazeikiu Nafta wished „this Holly Easter to be a holiday of mutual understanding, openness and love – a holiday that would help everyone to live according to the great commandment of God „Love everyone as you would yourself“.
