OREANDA-NEWS. April 10, 2009. The Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC was visited by a delegation led by the Gazprom JSC Chairman of Board Alexey Miller and the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov.

The focus of steadfast attention of visitors became innovative and social policy of the company. The president of the Republic of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov and the Chairman of Board of the Gazprom JSC Alexey Miller have taken part in solemn actions devoted to commissioning of  Visbreaking production facility at the Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC Refinery and opening of the second stage of the “Salavat”  sports and concert complex – swimming pool.

Directly at the industrial site the visitors have listened to a detailed story of construction and purpose of the new production facility. The Director General of the Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC Damir Shavaleev has given to the Chairman of Board of the Gazprom JSC Alexey Miller the right to open marketable product shipment release valve to commodities and feed stock farm.
Dynamic construction of this priority project of the company was underway since 2007 within the frames of implementation of the Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC Perspective Development and Investments Program from 2002 to 2010. Investments into the project made 4.2 billion roubles.

Thanks to putting into operation of the Visbreaking production facility at the Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC Refinery oil refining rate will be increased by 5%. In addition this will make possible to reach higher efficiency and technological flexibility of oil refining processes at the Refinery.
In this project the social aspect matters also: with start-up of the Visbreaking production facility at the Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC the Salavat city has got additional 119 workplaces.

At the briefing for journalists of federal, republican and local newspapers Alexey Miller said:
– From now on shareholder of the company will be the Gazprompererabotka LLC. Speaking about the company future, I would like to notice that we have very ambitious plans concerning Salavat. The Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC investment program by 2015 will exceed 100 billion roubles. These are projects in the field of oil refining and petrochemistry which will be implemented on the basis of structure and organizational form present today.

After visiting of the production facility the visitors have examined GRS-4 installations of Gazpromtransgaz Ufa.
Then the delegation has taken part in solemn opening of the second stage of the "Salavat" sports and concert complex - the swimming pool. This multipurpose facility was built at the initiative of the Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC within the frames of the federal target program "Gazprom - to Children". Construction was executed at the expense of company's own funds. Budgeted cost of the project makes 240 million roubles The new swimming pool occupies a site of two thousand square meters. It includes six lanes of 25 meters each, spa-pool, children's waterslides, Finnish and infra-red saunas, a multipurpose training hall of 200 sq. m, equipped with specialized fitness machines. On the average the new sports complex can be visited by 570 persons a day.

– Today's event is of great importance not only for Salavat city, but also for the whole republic, – said during solemn ceremony RB President Murtaza Rakhimov. – In the latest years in Bashkortostan huge attention is paid to sports development, and thanks to it we see many examples of development of mass interest towards physical culture and sports. The Gazprom JSC Chairman of Board Alexey Miller has handed over to young swimmer from Salavat Christina Zapasnaya a pool symbol – "Gold flipper". Visitors also have visited first stage of the “Salavat” SCC – the Ice palace – and have watched training of local hockey players.
