OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 April 2009 was announced, that a position of Deputy Supervisor on Capital Construction was introduced at “Integrated Energy Systems” “Generation of Ural” Division. The functions of a new Deputy include formation and realization of capital construction investment programs, technical re-equipment and reconstruction of energy facilities.

Separation of a new functional block is aimed at increase of division’s activity efficiency and is conditioned by the large scope and specificity of activity in this direction. For instance, only in 2008 the program of technical re-equipment and reconstructions at “Generation of Ural” facilities included 942 units.

Alexander Viktorovich Kolbin was assigned to this position. A.Kolbin has a great experience of work in realization of investment projects in power sector. In 2003-2006 A.Kolbin headed “Permenergospetsremont”. Since 2006 he worked as Deputy General Director of TGC-9 OJSC on capital construction and investments realization. Under his direction there were successfully realized several investment programs related to introduction into operation of generating equipment at TGC-9 power plants (installation of new turbo units at Zakamsk CHPP-5, Chaikovsk CHPP-18 and Perm CHPP-14) that ensured the growth of operating capacity by more than 200MW.

Besides, A.Kolbin is leading the works on provision of reliable heat supply of Berezniky under conditions of the accident at potassium mine. Within this program the Company managed to complete undertime the construction of a new heating main that allows in case of necessity to exclude Berezniky CHPP-10, located in the area of possible gap of the earth surface, from the city heat supply system and arrange the heat supply from Berezniky CHPP-4. At present the works on removal of some constructions of CHPP-10 from the area of construction of bypass railway are carried out under direction of A.Kolbin.
