OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 April 2009 was announced, that the head of the Kandalaksha area Vasily Shambir has held a meeting with delegation from Swedish twin-city Piteo. Big friend Kandalashki Anni Persson has arrived with the associates to get acquainted with a new management of area and to discuss possibilities of continuation of cooperation. She has told about those traditions which have developed throughout many years. This invitation of pupils Zelenobrsky children's home on summer vacations, participation of the Kandalaksha children's soccer team in the international tournament "White nights", carrying out of days of Kandalaksha in Piteo.

V.Shambir has assured representatives of public organization "Friends to Kandalaksha" that friendly relations in social sphere, certainly, will be kept and it is necessary to involve in them as it is possible bolshee quantity of people - both with Russian, and from the Swedish party. The head has suggested to bring and a new direction in cooperation of twin-cities – in an education sphere, the industry. He has in detail asked visitors on a situation on a labour market in Piteo, about the city enterprises, about its educational institutions. All participants of a meeting have agreed that it is necessary to expand transboundary communications. Anni Persson has promised to transfer the maintenance of conversation to the head of city of Piteo Peteru Rusljundu and has handed over V.Shambiru two invitations. For young football players on tournament which will take place in July, and for delegation from Kandalaksha for August which structure should include representatives of municipality, amateur actors, public men.
