OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2009. From now on, Ukio bankas investment funds can be acquired using AB Ukio bankas internet banking system Eta bankas, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

This new function of Eta bankas will create possibilities for the clients to easier, quicker and more conveniently invest in Ukio bankas investment funds and view the value of the investment funds they already hold. With the aim to encourage the clients in using Eta bankas, all Ukio bankas clients, who invest in Ukio bankas investment funds via Ukio bankas internet banking system Eta bankas, will be waived of distribution fees from 8 April of this year. The offer is valid until 30 June 2009.

“We understand that due to persisting recession of the finance market investors are not in high spirits,” Antanas Suraucius, director of UAB Ukio banko investiciju valdymas, said. “However, by this campaign we wanted to once again remind the clients that investments should be made not only when markets are rising and securities prices are soared but also when securities are rather cheap.” Presently, it is quite a favourable time for investments and this campaign is a perfect opportunity for the clients to make investments, especially having in mind the advantages granted by periodic investment.”

UAB Ukio banko investiciju valdymas manages Ukio bankas Bonds Fund and Ukio bankas Rational Investment Fund. Ukio bankas Bonds Fund is oriented to investors who are keeping to a more conservative investment strategy, whereas Ukio bankas Rational Investment Fund is intended for investors with low or medium investment experience, who, upon assuming higher risk, seek higher profitability than that of bonds. Investments in Ukio bankas funds can be made in both the Litas and euros.
