OREANDA-NEWS. On April 08, 2009 Oil Company Rosneft transferred 14 million rubles to the Olympic Committee of XXII Olympic and XI Paralympics Winter Games 2014 in Sochi, reported the press-centre of Rosneft.    

This is the first tranche of 180 mln USD payment within the Company and Committee partnership. According to the contract the last tranche will be paid quarterly in equal-size payments before the beginning of the Games.

The status of the general partner of Olympic Committee XXII of Olympic and XI Paralympics Winter Games 2014 in the rank "Oil" will give Rosneft the exclusive rights to use the Olympic marks in Russia. After making the license agreements Company will get the right to use the Olympic mark on the Rosneft filling stations, which juristically belong to affiliated to Rosneft companies.

Within the Olympic program Rosneft is going to put into operation more than 150 filling stations. 63 stations will be put in Krasnodar region, others - on main routes in 9 regions of Russia. Rosneft plans to put into operation new filling stations for ratracs (mountain tractors) and place floating filling stations for the water carriage. It is projected to construct 60 new gaz filling stations.
