Vostochno–Beysky Open Pit Increases Its Capacities of Graded Coal
OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 April 2009 was announced, that new Swiss portable crushing plant Giporec R130C is put into operation at the Vostochno - Beysky open pit (Khakassia). It is intended for processing of rough coal into 0-50 grade coal strongly sought-for by heat power industry.
Such plant is for the first time used at SUEK enterprises in Khakassia. Apart from portability, its advantages include operational safety and high volumes of processing. According to specifications Giporec R130C is capable of processing over 4,000 tones of coal per day.
"In conditions of unsteady demand we are trying to expand the possibilities for manoeuvring on the coal market", says Aleksey Kilin, the Director of Chernogorsky branch of OAO SUEK. "There is a vast scope of work at the Vostochno - Beysky open pit for the new plant, but, if necessary, our specialists will be able to transfer Giporec for operation at the Izykhsky open pit at short notice".
