OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 April 2009 was announced, that a solemn event dedicated to the fifth anniversary of Kotinskaya mine (OAO SUEK-Kuzbass) was held at Drama Theatre of Prokopievsk City, Kemerovskaya Region.

The miners were congratulated on the memorable date by the head of TEK Department of the Kemerovskaya Region Administration Andrey Gammershmidt; Deputy General Director, HR and Administration Director of OAO SUEK Dmitry Syromyatnikov and General Director of OAO SUEK-Kuzbass Aleksandr Loginov.

The First Deputy Governor of the Kemerovskaya Region Valentin Mazikin in his congratulation letter expressed his gratitude to the mine's personnel. "Owing to the committed work, high professionalism of the mine's personnel headed by its director Mikhail Grigorievich Lupiy over a dozen of local and Russian records in coal extraction and deepening of mine workings. During the first five years the face mine has extracted 18 million tones of coal, and has prepared over fifty kilometers of mine workings. These ciphers speak for themselves. Today Kotinskaya mine is the benchmark for the rest of the coal extraction enterprises of the country. Owing to your success the prestige of mining profession is growing, and the amount of taxes transferred to the local, regional and federal budgets is increasing. And this helps improve the social sphere, utility services in the Prokopievsky District, the town of Kieselevsk, all of our dear Kuzbass", said Valentin Mazikin.

Within the celebration the distinguished mine's employees and the outstanding miners were solemnly awarded. 19 specialists received departmental, 18 - corporate and 13 - regional awards. Ford Focus automobiles were given to winning machine engineers Vladimir Sidelnikov and Vladimir Loza,  electrical fitter Sergey Shilnikov, assistant mechanic Igor Beloglazov and chief power engineer Evgeny Iushin.
