OREANDA-NEWS. April 8, 2009. Today joint seminar of AZEL (Azerbaijan Electronics) - the leading IT Company in Azerbaijan and its partner АРС by Schneider Electric was held in Baku. Seminar was devoted to reliable surge protection for office computers and electronic equipment.

Opening the seminar Igor Yakovenko, Chairman of Supervisory Board, AZEL Company has noted that “AZEL is an official partner of APC for more than 13 years and propose all range of solutions for protection of network and equipment. Damaging surges associated with lightning or utility problems can travel along utility and data lines, damaging  electronic devices and destroying valuable data. Even smaller everyday surges can degrade the performance of  electronics and decrease their life. The APC equipment provides a high level of protection for  computers, electronics and connected devices, as well as providing surge protection for phone lines and on selected models - coax cables".

In the frame of seminar representatives of APC by Schneider Electric - Sergey Gavrilenkov, Territory Manager South Caucasus, and Alexey Antipov, Key Accounts Manager presented reports on topics:  "Effective base for building of Data Processing Centers" and "Survey of APC solutions".
