OREANDA-NEWS. On April 06, 2009 Uralsvyazinform (RTS and MICEX: URSI/URSIP, ADR: UVYZY/UVYZYP), the leading carrier of fixed-line and mobile services in the Urals region, Russia reported on the date and place of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting, reported the press-centre of Uralsvyazinform.

On April 3, 2009 the Board of Directors approved the place and date of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

The AGM will take place on June 4, 2009 at 10.00 a.m. (local time) at the following location: 2, Krupskoy St., Perm, Russia. Registration of participants starts at 8.00 a.m.

April 15, 2009 has been assigned a record date.

The Board will further discuss the Meeting’s agenda on its session of April 24, 2009.
