OREANDA-NEWS. On April 03, 2009 Global Finance, a leading international financial magazine, named the Bank Credit-Standard as the best bank of Uzbekistan in 2009 among developing countries.

Editors of the magazine determined the best banks at the participation of banking analysts and consultants on such criteria as: assets growth, profitability, strategic partnership, service to clients, innovative products, etc.

Banks from 21 countries from Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Latin America participated at the competition.

The results will be published in May edition of Global Finance and awarding ceremony will be held in autumn 2009 in Washington, US, at the annual meeting of the IMF and World Bank.

Bank Credit-Standard received for the second time. Besides, the bank was named the best bank of Uzbekistan in 2006 by other magazine – The Banker.
