OREANDA-NEWS. April 7, 2009. Azerbaijani side was represented by 60 entrepreneurs in relevant sectors. With opening remarks to the forum participants spoke Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan Niyazi Saffarov, pointing to economic environment and dynamic growth of Azerbaijan as well as will to expand the trade relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania.

Lithuanian Foreign Affairs Minister in his turn stressed that the opening of Lithuania Trade House in Baku is a step forward in development of bilateral economic relations between the two countries. Within the Business Forum presentations by AZPROMO President Rahim Huseynov and the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry's Export and Investment Promotion Department Petras Simeliunas on Investment Climate, Business Opportunities as well as economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lithuania were brought to the attention of participants. Bilateral meetings between businessmen were held after the official part.
