OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 April 2009 was announced, that the MIRAX-BEETHAM project in London has been unanimously approved by the Public Committee – the final authority empowered to make decisions on city development. Earlier, the project was approved by the Department for Communities and Local Government.

The height of the multifunctional complex erected by the MIRAX GROUP corporation jointly with Beetham Organization Limited on the bank of the Thames will be 170m (52 floors), and its area – about 100,000 square meters.

The hearings were attended by architects, representatives of public organizations and city authorities. "The positive decision made by the competent committee is a pledge of the city's and its people's confidence in us, - noted Sergey Polonsky, Chairman of the MIRAX GROUP Board of Directors. – Today we have all necessary approvals on hand".

The MIRAX-BEETHAM TOWER complex will accommodate apartments, a hotel, exhibition spaces and a trade and recreation center.
