OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2009. EMT launched new Noova packages with a low minute rate starting from EEK 0.70 for common calls within Estonia. The package contains five levels with different minimum billing amount and in three of these levels (Noova 80, Noova 75 and Noova 70) calls within EMT network are free from the second minute, reported the press-centre of EMT.

Piret Murk- Dubout, Executive Vice President in charge of Marketing, said that from these new packages both frequent and rare users of mobile services can find a level suited for their needs. Also, from now on, after first minute, EMT contractual customers can talk for free in the largest and best mobile network in Estonia. New Noova packages do not have a monthly free, instead a minimum billing amount is applied. Within this minimum billing amount, users can make regular and video calls, send text messages and use data transmission services.

In all Noova packages, call starting fee of EEK 0.95 is applied and calls are counted with exactness of one second. Call starting fee is not applied for calls made via speed dialing; thus cost of calls between family members is very low or, if a relevant level is chosen, free. Cost of sending text messages is EEK 2.50 in all Noova packages.

Both private and business customers can subscribe to Noova packages at EMT self-service http://www.emt.ee/ or at representations.

In relation to launch of new packages, as of April 1st, 2009, new subscriptions to calling service packages Era, Noova, Peoleo, Super Era, Super Ari, Easy, Senior and Priima as well as to discount system Mother’s Package are no longer made. All these packages will remain active and open for current users if they do not wish to subscribe to more favorable packages.

Piret Murk-Dubout said that the main purpose of this change is to simplify communication with customers. In the view of saving costs, previous offers targeted towards smaller customer groups are replaced with lower prices.
