OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 April 2009 was announced, that a year ago, on 31 March, 2008, IDGC of Centre, JSC Uniform Operating Company was established. Belgorodenergo, Bryanskenergo, Voronezhenergo, Kurskenergo, Kostromaenergo, Lipetskenergo, Tverenergo, Smolenskenergo, Orelenergo, Tambovenergo and Yarenergo joined IDGC of Centre, JSC as its branches.

Within a year of work the Uniform Operating Company built an optimal structure of the Company’s management, implemented technical standards and operative activity, planning and reporting standards that are the same for all regions. The company set up in all its branches modern Network Management Centres, executed dispatch control of the Electric Networks Zones and standardised work with customers.

The status of the interregional operating company gave a number of advantages to its branches. For example, all branches of IDGC installed the best technologies and practices that were successfully tested in some of the branches. Together the branches solve technical tasks, execute repair programmes and programmes for reconstruction of the existing and construction of new facilities.

IDGC of Centre is transferring the whole company to the matrix management system aimed to solve strategic goals of the company. The company initiated and is executing important projects such as assets management system, work team and operative technological management system, customer relations system and automation of accounting and calculations with consumers. The company established a two-level management system.

In 2008 under setting up of the Uniform Operating Company, IDGC of Centre, JSC started using the uniform system of payment and labour motivation. The company is developping a project on automation of the human resources management system aimed to evaluate professional and corporate competences, management of training and personnel reserve. For the first time a Uniform Collective Agreement has been concluded between the interregional companies of Russia. In February 2009 the company adopted IDGC of Centre, JSC Collective Agreement fro 2009-2011 aimed to execute social benefits and guarantees that provide stability and development of the personnel of the operating company.

Eugene Makarov, General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC, said, “Today 24,000 high-calibre specialists work in the Uniform Operating Company. Despite the crises we try to preserve the maximal number of workplaces and social programmes adopted in IDGC of Centre. I am pleased that our trade unions react right on the changes that occur in the power industry and in the company and respond to changes within trade union structure. Problems that large consumers have due to the financial crises affect the volume of electricity production output and the volume of technological connections, thus, we have to pay a special attention to observance of payment discipline from the part of the consumers. We seek to find understanding with our partners and correct the main directions of the company’s development with regard of the strategic goals. I am sure that together we will strengthen our positions in all our business activities, execute our plans, execute obligations to our consumers and preserve stability within the staff.
