Centras Securities is congratulating its clients and partners with a significant date in the life of the company - five years since the date of the state registration of Centras Securities.

The company wishes to bring to notice of clients and partners some results of its five years operation.

Assets management

In 2005 Centras Securities the first in Kazakhstan created its open unit investment fund Kaznacheistvo. The Fund is providing an opportunity to receive stable income. According to results of the crisis year 2008 OUIF Kaznacheistvo became the most profitable open unit investment fund of Kazakhstan and the second in terms of yielding among all open and interval unit investment funds.  

Currently the company is managing 9 investment funds, among which three are retail investment funds. According to company evaluations over 20 % of all unitholders in Kazakhstan are clients of Centras Securities, and the company is hoping that its clients will be satisfied with the quality of work and yield of investment funds.

Besides, Centras Securities is a managing company of two venture funds: Venture fund Centras and Venture fund Tabys. By the beginning of 2008, of 15 projects, in which the venture funds invested in Kazakhstan, 8 projects were invested by venture funds managed by Centras Securities. Successful operation of the venture funds allowed in 2007 for establishing Centras Private Equity Fund - the first CIS fund of direct investment, managed by a local team, an "anchor" of which is EBRD.

Broker service

In 2008 Centras Securities in fact doubled the number of broker accounts opened by clients. The company is striving to quickly and accurately satisfy its clients. According to results of 2008 Centras Securities was acknowledged by Kazakhstan Stock Exchange the Leader of exchange share market. The company is emphasizing companies as ENRC PLC, Kazinvestbank, Insurance company Kommesk - Omir and other issuers selected the company as a market maker on the Kazakhstan stock market.

Financial consuting and underwriting

Centras Securities participated in attraction of financing for such companies as Tsesna Bank, Kazinvestbank, Kazakhtelecom etc. The company acted as a financial consultant of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, ENRC, the Beybars Group, TS Engineering etc. Information agency CBonds noted achievements of Centras Securities with an award CBONDS AWARDS 2008, for achievements in the corporate sector.
